Family Background

Discovery
Her husband saw a GSL Foundation ad and encouraged her to enroll. She was nervous but determined.
Training
8-month MLT program. Excelled in biochemistry and microbiology. Did clinical rotations at NABL-accredited labs.
Placement
Placed at Metropolis Healthcare as a Lab Technician. Now financially independent and a role model for her children.
Priya got married right after 12th grade and spent the next 10 years as a homemaker. After her children started school, she wanted to restart her career but had no recent skills or experience.
She enrolled in the Medical Lab Technician program at GSL Foundation's Ahmedabad centre. The program covered biochemistry, hematology, microbiology, and lab equipment operation. Despite being away from academics for a decade, Priya excelled.
She graduated with a Grade A+ certification and was recruited by Metropolis Healthcare as a Lab Technician. Priya now earns ₹20,000 per month and is the primary breadwinner in her family.
